Let's face it.
Guest books have come a long way.
They have transformed from a boring novel-type book where people write their names (woopie) to more personal, creative ideas like so:
Adding candy to library card drawers and having guests sign library cards as the guest book...
A puzzle-piece guest book where people write on the different pieces...
A scrap-book guest book where guests take photos of themselves and write a message next to their photo...
A letter for your new last name that people can sign...
And here's what we did!
We created different "stations" throughout the room that gave people a chance to move around, mingle, and do something other than eat and dance (which there was a lot of, might I add) =)
We had a picture frame that people could sign...
A "hope chest" where people could write notes to us, things they hoped or prayed for us, etc...
And we had a photo booth that came with hats, scarves, umbrellas, and tons of other fun stuff for people to wear! The photo booth printed out 2 sets of pictures...one for our guests to keep as their gift, and the other for them to put onto scrap book paper and decorate!
I have yet to put all of these pages into an actual book, but we sure did get some great photos of our friends!
Here's some for your viewing pleasure =)
